We took a long walk down Queen Street to John and after a break at Starbucks,
we kept moving on to Steamwhistle Brewery. Again, I'd never been and what a great little place!
We continued the southern tour to the CN Tower. What a great time up there. As soon as we ascended the great height, both Steven and I were feeling a bit off, but that didn't stop us from getting on that glass floor, taking hundreds of pictures, and even popping into 360 for a burger. Cheeky, right? Love it.
We moved to the Harbourfront for a great walk along the water. We passed this amazingly lively salsa dancing group...it was such an unexpected surprise.
Toronto, you are one beautiful lady. Thanks for having us xx
We had dinner at Terroni. Not much needs to be said about this place...it's won numerous awards and apparently never fails to impress anyone who goes. We were no exception: great wine, great beer, great patio, and amazing pizza. Go.
We ran from Queen Street West to Niagara, down Bathurst, to Queens Quay, where we found this most adorable park. Steven was a bit surprised at just how many baseball diamonds there were in the city...I can't say I noticed until this time around. But how awesome to find bathrooms and water fountains along the way as we ran along the Harbourfront, overlooking the water looking south and the CN Tower looking north. Oh and yes, that picture above is a huge joke. Well, I was stretching (that is no joke), but I don't usually pose like such a geek! xx
Oh, she is a majestic wonder, isn't she? Steven and I took the Journey Behind the Falls and though it didn't seem so at first, it was SO worth it. Take a peek...
I assure you, I'm looking for something very, very important!
Lundy's Lane: what a hilarious place.
My hair, doing The Kathleen ;)
We went to the Copacobana for dinner, then I found this guy on the street. Best night.
A friend of Frank's from school rents out her Queen Street West apartment. What a great place (with this great view!).
After doing some unpacking and some making out (that is what holidays are for, after all), we wandered around, eventually settling at Czehoski, where we had drinks and way too many chicken wings (chicken wings?! This vacation is certainly allowing us to drop our food inhibitions).
...then we retired to the Done Right Inn. So awesome (yes, it stunk and yes, the people were gross, but hey, we were enamoured nonetheless).
A drawing of George Costanza was there...how bad could it be?
