Corners

I'm a little under the weather again. Damn kids. I woke up on Wednesday morning, feeling like dirt, and called in sick. I slept all day. Literally all day. Today I called in again...I can't sit in that cold room, with the swarms of teenagers and feel as healed as I can if I'm here in my cozy little room, in my Lululemon pants, watching terrible TV. So there. I feel fine...just a bit fluish. My Korean mother brought me some vegetable and rice juk from my favourite restaurant, so I feel even better. I'll go back tomorrow.

In the meantime, I'm going to finish my last essay and submit it so that this AQ is done for once and for all. I've wrapped all my pressies, written all my cards, and I'll go out to the post office today before it closes. I really do love Christmas again :) I knew I'd come around.

Good news on the Italian front...first off, my Dad has taken it upon himself to write half of each of his emails in Italian. Best Idea of the Day Award goes to...my father. Thanks, Dad (capitalized). Secondly, Mom talked to her friend Nancy about my migration to Europe, and she's going to attempt to reconnect with some of the bosses she had when she was a teacher. Score one for the good guy. I'm really going through with this...and it will all come together exactly as it should. I think a change IS right around the corner ;)
