Then Came Cambridge

Dani, Jocelyn, and I headed off to Cambridge at the crack of dawn on Saturday. We had wine, pizza, a bus trip, a sharing-a-bed sleepover, and the company of some really lovely women...not in that particular order. It was a magical place...

Because why wouldn't we hook a duck? A giant duck at that ;)

We took a 12-seater punt down the river to see Cambridge University from the water. It was clearly the highlight of the day (since the evening hadn't come yet).

The underside of the bridge reads, "I am not a seagull." It was an act of retaliation from the architect who designed the bridge. He was continually told that the bottom of it looks like the underside of the squawking bird flying. Apparently, he didn't like that much ;)

The walk home in the park looked sort of like this...

The night out on the town looked like this...

And alas, we rest. This was Dani and my attic bed followed by a tour of the house...

Breakfast was in the garden. What a perfect way to spend a sunny morning.

I'm going to miss those girls :(
