Everyone has gone to bed, so I thought I would snag a few images from Laura and Jesse's camera from today.
Seriously?
This was one of the nicest ceremonies I've attended. There were no parishioners in the church with us, and since we were only fifteen people, it was so intimate and special. The twins, of course, acted like little angels, and it was clear they were completely mesmerized by the priest: as soon as he spoke; their cooing grew quiet; their eyes enlarged, and their attention was completely fixed. It was pretty adorable. That said, nearly everything they do is pretty much adorable. Here's the lot of us, whooping it up after the kids were done...
After the short walk home, the feeding of the masses, and a change into something a little more comfortable, Ellie and I were chilling out once more. This is so the life.
I'll take it.
And yes, I'll miss them terribly when I go back to England. Maybe enough to warrant a trip back at Christmas...
