On day such-and-such, Laura's friends from law school came over for some dinner and some baby-ogling. Love.
So they've started to call Ellie, "The Tank" and since she isn't just as large as " tank", Laura's dad has started to call her "Sherman", as in "a Sherman Tank". Oh god. But still, "Sherman" as a nickname? Loves.
The following day, we headed to Ancaster for some rest and relaxation in the back woods.
Fixin' up some baby issues...
...before heading out for a walk. Note: the Baby Bjorn says implicitly all over it, "Do not run with a baby in the Bjorn". Oh (I say this because I totally would have taken a kid running in the Baby Bjorn). Did you also know that you couldn't put sunscreen on a baby who is under six months old? The things you find out when your friends have kids.
(this Baby Walk in Ancaster brought to you by Birkenstock)
Auntie Lex is ready to rock. And you see the ONLY example of when tights are an acceptable form of PANT: when carrying a bebe in an infant carrier. Love.
Church in Ancaster
The Ancaster Town Hall (where I went to theatre camp in the summer of 1993 and Laura took her first dance lesson. Rich...really rich.)
Ellie and Jesse
A few dream homes in Ancaster...
Screened-in porch, seriously? Loves.
This is the creek under the bridge to which Laura walked just after having the twins. She was exhausted and sore and just lost it when she arrived here. Her mother advised her to, "just listen to the water"...
A day in the life of Adeline...
snoozing in the coffee shoppe
then totally passed out in the heat of the day...
Bonding with Ellie (totally necessary after a Big Baby Bjorn walk with Addy) back home in the air conditioning...
Nice day, non?
Love.
Love.

Did you retire the awful orange water bottle for a blue one!
And I emailed you my schedule last week and this week, but haven't heard from you. Glad you are having a fantastic time, though!!
