The snow came falling in Canada over Christmas, blanketing the place in a sombre quiet. Since my family and I weren't doing much other than eating and hanging around with each other, it was fine by us. I cooked everyday and Mom provided Good Wine (you know, the kind I can't find over here). There were a few visits to the Grandparents' and to my Dad's, but that was about it.
We had a stunning storm that covered every surface in thick ice that lasted for about a week. As long as you had no where to go by car (or on foot, as I found out when walking the dog), it was really quite beautiful to watch.
A few messages from home...
…while I sat with feet up. Pretty relaxing way to spend the Christmas season.
