It's half term in England. Thank god. Though I'm working on Friday, I'm off now and it's the sweetest thing. I met Steven in Notting Hill on Sunday after work and we jumped in the car, stood still in traffic through the city for nearly two hours, then headed north. We arrived in Dent long after the sun had gone down, so we headed for some pints at the local, where conversation ceased and all heads turned our way upon us walking in. I think the population is about 20 here, so it stands to reason that we stand out like a pair of sore thumbs. No matter, however: we took the car, went to a cheese factory, saw some countryside, and finally took the zoom lens out for a spin. Here's what we saw yesterday...

Dent, Cumbria, The Lakes
