Borough Market After Hours

After a pretty epically bad start to the day (we never take "I'm super miserable" selfies, do we?), Steven and I wound up at the Southbank over what was supposed to be one drink.  We paid too much for them though, and wound up at an after-work pub in the building where Bridget Jones' fictitious apartment is (remember that from the movie?).  Shortly thereafter, we were joined by Dell, who changed the dynamic into A Night Out.  Walking through Borough after it was all shut down (bar the angry-looking man who was all smiles until I whipped out my camera…yikes!) was a surreal experience…not a person in sight, which thrills me in the city.  Here's a bit of what we saw...

Though we came home at a decent hour, there was much frivolity involving a bottle of water and annoying our fellow travellers.  #sorrynotsorry, as they say.

Hope you had a great weekend xx
