Since I'm off for most of the week for half term and am cozying up at a cottage in the Lake District, I thought I'd share the views from start to finish of the commute down Brighton way...

I can't say it looks like this for most of the winter: from November until, well, still now, it gets dark far too soon and stays late far too long to get views like this, but some days I get out early and some mornings I rock up a bit late…and what I see is magical.
