Better be!

Though Aleisha and I ran quite a few days in the countryside of eastern France, and Kat and I did a number on Lake Geneva to the Botanical Gardens, I've been pretty much out of the running game since SELF ended. Ah-ha...have no fear. Because the above beauty (which quotes something from Africa. Who doesn't love Africa?) got me right back on track today. I found a new footpath and it wound all around a golf course. Delightful. I'm sure all three of us are back on a strict diet of chick peas, hummous, and raw vegetables until the mass of cheese and pate are out of our systems. Mmmm...pate.

We're back to school tomorrow after a delightful two week vacation (it's just not right, I know), and I'm feeling a bit anxious. All the same, I'm happy to get back into the routine of...oh who am I kidding? I'm not happy at all. Holidays should be all the time. Argh.

Have you watched Boardwalk Empire? I'm totally hooked. I've watched every episode (save the one I'm watching now) from Seasons 1 and 2. Though The Mother Hen certainly wouldn't like it, I'm sure the rest of you watch faithfully. What was I thinking in missing this until now?

Also, I would like to do a yoga headstand. I'm reading a new book about some sort of Eastern Medicine and thought it would be cool to study how to do one (a headstand, that is). I also found an anatomy textbook in my closet. And now, in one fell swoop, I want to be a doctor again. Another argh, this time for epiphanies that might very well lead to life-changing events.

I'm curious...is it worthwhile to go back to school (again)? Of course it's worthwhile: that's a given. Is it advisable, is perhaps the better question. I should read about physiology and try to answer this one myself.
