Making Progress

I'm marking my year 8 papers.  They wrote a really hard test and are scoring really high marks.  I'm bursting with pride in them.  I can't help but think that if a group of really smart 12-year olds are pushed hard enough, they will become the most brilliant 16-year olds.  A girl can dream, right?

Speaking of dreaming, though it doesn't look much like the cottage in Sevenoaks I'm manifesting that I'll live in come August, this living room sure does tickle my fancy.
