In an effort to freak out less about seeing all these people I'm going to in a few days and to just calm down about how small this trip is compared to others, I re-read the post I first wrote upon starting this blog. I can not believe how much has changed in my little life. What a trip. Literally and figuratively. Read it if you want a laugh ;)
This has been such an interesting tale to write...I'm so glad I kept it up and am so moved that so many of you follow along like you do. I'm blessed, really.
Much love from across the pond...

As I close the "living abroad" chapter and start the "moving to a new, real city" chapter, I am also freaking out. But, you already know this. What is amazing though, is that as much as things and we change, they stay the same. We still freak out about the same things and worry in the same ways. I think that is healthy and important to keep us grounded to who we are. I also LOVE that because of these leaps we have taken, we have new people to share them with that we would never have met otherwise.
I thank you and myself for taking the leap and giving us the chance to meet each other. I also thank you for keeping this up, because as much as I do not comment lately, I LOVE reading it. You have learned so much these past 2 years and I think it is amazing that you have shared it with us.
So, freak out if you must, because the trip, no matter how small, is an important one and will bring you closer to where you ultimately want to be. And those kinds of trips are worth the anxiety.
Much love.
