Lime Regis

This is Lime Regis.  It strikes me as odd that it's no longer a strange occurrance to go to the sea two weekends in a row.  I love that about this tiny island: in less than two hours, you can be at the ocean.

Kat made me asked me if we could make a pit stop in Lime Regis on our eight-hour ride home.  Sure we could!  We were all in good spirits and after asking a local where we could catch a view like THIS, we were in even better moods.

We wandered down this hill in the car (big mistake?  Learning experience?  Let me tell you, it was something) and found this Port-Dover-esque town where all the English go to see the ocean.  It was a delight.  We didn't have much luck finding a spot and after a short panic attack that we'd NEVER GET OUT and WE'D BE STUCK HERE FOREVER, I turned that car around and off we went back Dartford way.  Still, the pictures are truly remarkable, as was the view.
