Tintagel and King Arthur's Ruins

Our day trip to Tintagel took longer to get to than we thought it would, but when we were greeted with this sign and "Honesty Box", it certainly made it all worthwhile.  I had no idea what to expect in this town, but have learned over the course of the last two years that one just has to let go and enjoy every single aspect of the journey, knowing that England and her glorious weather (all sarcasm aside: the weather was perfect) will most certainly provide a great trip.

This is either the smallest or the oldest Post Office in England.  No matter, it certainly was the cutest.  That roof?  Stop.

This orb?  Loves it.

Naturally, we stopped for a Cornish Pasty for lunch.  It wasn't as good (get this) as the ones you get at the Charing Cross train station at, like, midnight on a weekend, so that was a little disappointing, but it was pretty awesome to be inside a cute pub, drinking a locally produced cider, and enjoying the sunshine.

From the town, we meandered to the cliffside of Tintagel, which looped around back to, what else? King Arthur's castle.  Don't mind if I do.

It's a kick to see someone else taking a picture of someone they love.

Steven calls this The Canadian Pose.  As soon as we see a camera, we put hand on hip and give 'er a good pose.  Yeah well, that's us.

I love love love this picture of Laura, however, which was not posed at all.

And here it lies...King Arthur's castle (or what's left of it)!

Cute, yes?  We thought so.
