Stonehenge
Stonehenge was originally built five thousand years ago. It still stands, tall, enormous, ominous. We scooted off the main highway on our way to Cornwall this weekend and headed over to where the sheep roam and the stones stand high. What a trip this was already turning out to be.
The wind was vicious and rather cold, causing Laura's new bangs doing very unfortunate jumps over her head, leading to us bursting into laughter for the hundredth time that day and starting the road trip with how it ended: happily and lightly. We had such a nice time.
Love this picture: Kat walking with All The Tourists, listening to the audio guide-phone-thingy
This angry-cat-looking stone was apparently very important, but I couldn't bear to listen to the audioguide anymore. I was transfixed on the American family of EIGHT children who were there with their parents. It was almost as exciting as Stonehenge itself.
And now the adventure begins...
