Excruciating

I've hunkered down after an excruciatingly long week to watch Blue Valentine.

I'm exhausted, I'm emotionally drained. I've talked to everyone at work I could possibly talk to about every single topic I can imagine.

I have revision tomorrow morning at school, which means I'm working a whopping six days this week. Aside from this, I have books to mark, lessons to plan, and extra stuff to work out.

I'm a bit worried that this movie, about a young couple that is chronicled through marriage, will dredge up memories about the Ghost. I could just nestle down in my bed and sleep instead, couldn't I?

I digress...

I've decided because of this
that I'll be a tourist in my own home tomorrow after school is done.

I'll see the used book market under Waterloo Station,
visit the National Gallery,
see Piccadilly Circus,
wander through Holland Park,
meander through Oxford and Regent streets,
and have high tea at The Wolseley.

I'm super excited.
Why not take full advantage of the place I call home?

What have you got on this weekend, my lovelies?
