Croatia-bound

It's that time again: holidays!

Though the lack of a loooong summer holiday (the reason some of us got into teaching in the first place!) has been a bit of a bummer, I will admit that the amount of one- and two-week holidays we get here in the UK is amazing.

I'm avoiding this...

...to go off with Kathleen, Aleisha, and Seth to explore Croatia by car. Strange, non? It was a spur-of-the-moment decision made because Africa is having some pretty extreme riots (don't ask me...I hear this from others) and partying in Morocco isn't everyone's cup of tea currently. Harumph. So we're off on a plane (three, actually) bright and early tomorrow morning, renting a car, and heading off into the wide unknown.

Nathan says that Croatia is the most beautiful place he's been (correct me if I'm wrong, Friend), so I'm sure that despite the -8 degree weather (yow-za!), the scenery (hello, Adult Camera) will be well worth the frigidity.
