He's also sent coffee. You would think that since there is a Starbucks here, I would have broken down and bought the ONLY non-instant coffee I've seen in Korea (Starbucks), but its about $45 per bag! Can you imagine? They charge $15 for this back home. I was appalled and ever-so grateful when dad sent not one, but TWO bags of fresh coffee. Dee-licious.
AND, Martina from Italy sent some earrings (supposedly from Italy...I'll have to find out). I'm wearing them today. They look like the same glass that Leanne brought back from Italy...so I'm guessing that's where they're from. Last but certainly not least (since it will impact all my clothes from here on in), dad sent the renowned Downy Ball. I don't have a dryer here, so everything, including towels (eek!) has to be hung dry. This means everything must also be ironed, to help soften the clothes. Buuuut, now that I have the Downy Ball, I can put it in the wash, full of fabric softener, walk away, and know that it will dispel the soft when the time is right. I have no idea how it works, but it does. And that is enough for me.
Thanks for the care package, dad: I'm quite content today :)
