I'm not being sarcastic. An old faculty adviser from Western just sent me an email and I thought I ought to share it. It's not everyday I get such a kind-hearted note (that isn't from the Mother Hen or Les Girls).

Now that I read it again, I suppose it isn't that big a deal. But she thanked me for asking her to be a reference. I like that. Natural Disaster Education Training is right now. I have to laugh...I'm fairly certain that even with a lot of education, the actual dealing with a disaster would be disorganized here. Regardless, the nation is being taught something today. Sounds good to me: two less classes to teach ;)
