Some (free) Advice

I used to be a financial adviser. Though I don't watch the world markets as much as I used to (and perhaps as much as I
should to stay in the proverbial loop), I still do watch what's happening daily.

Folks, it's time to get a mortgage! Rates are going up, and the Bank of Canada is hoping to increase Prime by June. Get in there, homebuyers! And if you need to do a refinance, do it now :) Banks will hold your rate for 120 days, so if you have an application on their system, you will more than likely get the better rate too.

I read an article entitled, If you're still in debt, forget retirement, in the National Post today and was so glad someone was actually saying this:
While Investors Group found 23% polled thought they'd carry a modest mortgage of $25,000 into retirement, the median balance is actually $82,000.

Happy house hunting!
