Paris, Day Two: Night on the Champs d'Elysses

After a day out in Paris, and after saying goodbye to Sheila, I met up with a fellow traveler we had met earlier in the day for some dinner and drinks on the Champs d'Elysses. Not too shabby of a Thursday night, if you ask me.

The sun setting behind the Arc de Triomph...breathtaking

One of the three things I came here for:
seeing the Champs d'Elysses lit up at night.
Swoon.

It was at about this point that I got a text from Laura. She and Alicia were together, hanging out with the girls, and wanted to talk to me about Turkey and Paris.

Laura called me and the two of them made my NIGHT. What an amazing time to be talking to your besties: even a world apart, we could share the splendor of this city and the advancements of the kids. Both girls are doing so well...it's remarkable. Laura and Jesse have elected that Eliana will be mine and Steve's goddaughter, while Alicia and Ryan will godparent Adeline. It was big news...

...bigger than this :)

Adventures have abounded, this is true. So have blessings, friends.
