In the Spirit of Giving Thanks

Sometimes the best prayer is, "thank you".

What are you thankful for? Tis the season for all things grateful...here's a few things for which I am profoundly thankful:

. my amazingly supportive family, without whose constant love I could not survive

. six friends who have continuously meant more to me than I could possibly mention or fully appreciate: Joelle, Alicia, Laura, Leanne, Shalaina, and Jackie. They are the family I chose for myself and I consider myself lucky everyday that they chose me, too.

. my country. I've always been a raving nationalist: being away just strengthens the intensely strong adoration I have for such a beautiful, fair place.

. my education and my school. I'm a very proud Western Alumnus.

. the ability to know what time it is all the time without having to check.

. figuring out song lyrics before I read them and finding out I am right.

. for my past. It may have been rocky, but there were some mighty good times back then. And without all those times, I would not be who I am today, where I am today. So for all the fluttering-heart moments, all the heartache, for all the ego trips and weekend trips, for all the coats of paint and coats of armour, I am truly thankful for the events, the moments, the people, who have graced my life so far.

I miss you all tremendously right now.

I wish I could cook you all a nice turkey :)
