What I Did Today

I pushed it a little too hard at the gym for the past two days and this morning Matt and I made it all the way down to the lobby before we turned, looked at each other, and respectively went back to sleep. It was high time to rest.

After my short day today, I went to the Chinese doctor for some TLC. My hip flexor was sore. In case we aren't quite sure what that is...

...it's right there. Argh. Um, so he asked me to take my pants off. But he's a doctor, right? So this should be okay with me. I'd like to think I was that scientific about it, but I so was not.

He then proceeded to put needles in my hip flexor (imagine getting an ankle tattoo in terms of pain) and in my feet (ditto). Cringe. Not what I wanted to be doing tonight, but the Doc said it was necessary. It does feel better now, but I'm so tired I fell asleep on the table, bright lights shining down on me, while the TENS machine was sending electronic impulses through my entirely upper thighs. Oh, and my bum was pretty much entirely exposed. I was behind a curtain, mind, but really, curtains move in the wispiest of breezes. Korea, why are you so awesome right now?

On a lighter note, Leanne and Mark did their engagement photo shoot this Mother's Day weekend. Here's hoping it's acceptable that I'm posting this here (they look pretty darn cute: something tells me it's juuust fine). I must say, I'm pretty excited to be a part of this party :)

Also, I wonder if someone could do me a favour.

The Koreans don't believe me when I tell them of the vast cheese selection back home. As in, they think that the colby and cheddar provisions alongside the bucket o' cream cheese is a sufficient stash.

I would love a picture of a cheese aisle,
because I know we have them in The Great White North.
Then I can show them what cheese is supposed to look like.

Is that odd?

Tell them to go to the wine and cheese section in Food Plaza in the basement of AK Plaza in Seohyeon Station in Bundang. There is as wide of a cheese aisle there as I have seen back home. AND it is IN Korea.

Sincerely,
Erin
