Waltz around Vienna

The train ride to Vienna was magical. Alps? Loves it.

I arrived at Wombats (and would not recommend it) across from the train station, checked in, and walked to the old town. This man was the first Austrian I saw who was lovely. The rest of them were just shopping along the main drag that was far too commercialized for my liking. Sigh. Vienna is not what I thought it would be.

Though, upon arrival in the Olde Town, I saw Heldenplatz, Hofburg Palace, and basically fell in love with this place too.

Loving the panorama. It's like I'm there again :)

Just look at the colour of that sky.

This is one of my favourites. Isn't autumn remarkable?

This was as a strange exhibit for the national holiday at Hofburg. Army and military vehicles all over the grounds? Not so lovely.

The view of the Dom from Hofburg. Swoon.

As night fell, the city took on such a romantic glow...

...a bit ominous at times...

...but oh so majestic.

And posh. Can't forget the posh-ness.

Parliment building...

LOVE the panorama setting. Isn't that building amazing?
