Happy Birthday, Alicia!
Oh, my dear friend, how I miss those glasses of wine. The summer at your house was amazing...sometimes when it gets tough to be alone in Korea, I think about the poolside talks, the chicken and salad dinners, and the time you, Dave, and I spent together. I miss you more than the dark misses the light; love you more than a fat kid loves cake ;)
I hope your day is great: full of not-so-crazy patients and good-to-you nurses. I wish I could be there to give you a huge hug! And thank you a thousand times over for calling this morning (well, thank you DAVE!)...that was an awesome surprise. I can't figure out how to call Canada, so I'm stoked that I got to talk to you today!
