Amazing Sunday

Though I have no idea how to spell it, I will simply do it phonetically:
An-eyong-ha-sayo!

I was back in Korea yesterday.

Figuratively, anyway.

I hopped into a Body Pump class at 9:30 (on a Sunday?! H
olla!), hopped back, hopped on the train, and was in London Town by noon. Twas a great way to end a quiet weekend.

Hit up the
British Museum where the highlight was watching a father expertly parent his son and daughter. Be still my heart. I just LOVE to see parents doing a good job.

Starving, I crossed the street to
Bibimbab Cafe. SO delicious. SO nice to be back in the flava of the red sauce, kimchi (yeah yeah, I liked it), veggies and fluffy rice. It was so Americanized (Anglosized?), but it was totally amazing. I used all Korean all the time. It was grand!

THEN because of an ad I saw in the Northern Line tube, I headed to
London Museum to see the London Street Photography Exhibition. What a TRIP. It was PACKED with what I can only assume were locals (real live English standing in line with me because I had this great idea to go see this great exhibition). You have to understand my excitement. Usually there are a TON of tourists and ONE English person. This time, the place was teeming with Brits. I don't think ONE other person there was a tourist. And you should have seen me. I brought a BOOK with me (as if it was so boring I had to be entertained), but I always bring a book. For good reason: 55 minutes on the train, time spent in line, lunching alone...one has a hankering for a good read.

BUT (this will shock you) I forgot my camera at home. What a tool. So I have nothing to show you as far as images go. Will have to borrow some from the old internet. That thing's still around, eh?

I got some amazing news from Western about my future teaching career back home. Will share once I hear more.
