Pic is mine. Isn't it hilarious?

Read by me (from Cup of Jo)... At this moment, my uncle, who officiated our ceremony, had just asked, "Who gives this woman to marry this man?" And my dad answered, "She comes of her own accord, with the full support of her mother and me."Kensington Square, London

I swooned.
Spoken by me... Me: "I'm just really tired, I can't even tell you." Laura: "Did you really just say that to a pregnant woman carrying twins?"
Me: "Yeah, yeah. I totally did."
Said to me... Cashier A: "Okay, so what was wrong with it?"
Me: "It was mouldy."
Cashier A (to Cashier B): "Right. So now you press the 'mould' button."
Cashier B: "We press that one all the time."
Cashier A: "Right. I trust you'll never shop here again. Here's your refund. Have a nice day."
Said in Korea (you'll see the reference in a sec)...
Me: "I'm really worried. I'm always really cold right here (motioning to back). It's like my kidneys are cold. Could that be indicative of a bigger problem (thinking entirely holistically)?"
Doctor: "No. You cold, you put sweater on."
Honestly, I can't make this stuff up.
OH! And I forgot to mention this a few days back. I must say, beyond a shadow of a doubt, my favourite part of staying in the hostel is the free book exchange. I recently picked up Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin as well as Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese. Both are middle eastern in, um, location genre (real term? Who knows), but I've wanted to read both for SOME TIME now. Since I was reading Middlesex, which I borrowed from Leanne ages ago, I simply could not leave it at the hostel, so I left the book exchange, exchange-less. I trust that my having these books will enrich the world more so than my leaving one (or two, which would have evened the score) behind. Trust hard.
And about that funk I was in earlier, rest assured a good sweat at the old gym (NEW gym!) certainly pulled me out of that one. All is good on the home front now. I'm off to a Body Pump class tomorrow morning, then the British Museum and for some Korean food here.
Whoot whoot weekend :)
I hope you are having an equally relaxing, satisfying time.
