Yet another English saying I adore: "She had the ump all day."

I spent the day at home today, working like a madwoman. I called in sick after not feeling so hot and needing the time to get a tonne of books marked, and spent about twelve hours marking. That's not so fun.
I did watch Hall Pass and The Adjustment Bureau in the background, so I can't say it was entirely productive work for those four hours, but there you have it. I highly recommend the latter, and definitely believe that due largely in part to the former, Owen Wilson needs to make a drama. And soon.
I took a walk tonight just to get out of the house and clear my head a bit. Maybe the trick to meditation is really clearing one's head, because I thought about very little and came back feeling very rested.
Maybe the best idea ever for Little Munchkins everywhere: this sheepskin blanket from Green Baby in Greenwich. Thanks for asking for my opinion, Mum: that really means a lot :)
England Riddle: Mother's Day comes far sooner than it does in Canada (second Sunday in April, I think), but Daylight Savings Time (or its inverse) comes much later (March 27 to your past weekend). Strange, eh?
I've just come to the harsh realization (well, stark might describe the realization a little less drastically) that this past year (12 months) has flown by. I remember this day in Korea last year. I was in the home stretch...I was nearly home, nearly with my friends, my family. It was all going to be okay. I had friends I just adored there in Anyang and Beomgye (hahaah...still cracks me up) and I found the Shout Out Louds. Holy God.
Life is amazing.
