Child's Play

I love children's toys. I think they are magnificent when they are done right. In fact, when I'm feeling down, it's not uncommon to find me roaming the isles of toy stores, or even the toy section of a department store, perusing the bright colours, the inviting buttons and noise-makers...it's all too much joy to feel down around. More than toys though, I love love love kids' books. And so this is a natural progression from there...




I found these alphabet cards (above) and fell in love. They're a little more obscure than your regular, "A is for Apple" cards, but it might be just what our little geniuses need to boost their vocabulary early. Why not challenge the little tykes?
