Amazing Photography Show in Seoul

Last weekend we attended this amazing photography show in Seoul in a little place called Jangjil or something like that. It was really spectacular. We finished the day off with shwarma (with ketchup and mustard? Still delicious) in Myeongdong and shopping at Forever 21. Can you believe that was my virgin shop there? My friends couldn't either. The ride home was fab too (blog to follow) because I discovered that my camera takes black and white pictures. The joy pours from me, honestly. So thanks, Joelle, for the camera that keeps on giving back. First it proved that humanity (or at least one person) is inherently good then it shows me the wonderment of B & W photography. Does it GET any better?

This was the entrance to the place where the show was housed. Quite impressive, if I do say so myself.

This is so Korean...the kids here love to play with string. You remember when you were a kid and you strung string between two middle fingers and then made some ornate cat's-cradle-esque (if I'm even using the right reference) web on your hands? Yeah, they still do it.

Same same. Korean kids are just the cutest kids ever.

This is a collage of many individual pictures of apartments melded together to make one big apartment building. Again, so very Korean.

On the left there is a collection of photographs that reminds me of family...the food, the wine, the annoyed glances, the spilling, the laughing. It warmed my heart.

In a separate section, there was a wall of post-its. I added, "Every little love matters" because I think it does. The rest of them were in, you guessed it, a foreign language. There was also an abundant amount of polyester "stuffing" on the floor, similar to that you'd see inside a teddy bear. It was made to look like cotton though and it was remarkable. Turns out Ryan doesn't care for the feel of cotton on him. Nicole thought it'd be funny to put some on his shoulder. He freaked out...this is the aftermath: me with an out-of-focus shot.

LOVING the black and white. Oh, there you can see the cotton batting down at the end there...it was a little gross.
