Something Tells Me I'm into Something Good

Tomorrow is the start of something wonderful for me...the start of a commitment to SELF (serenity, exercise, love, and food) for 40 days. I'm super excited. I've been reading this amazing blog (and you know how much I love The Blog) and this post spoke to me. Loudly.

Here's the text:
Do you ever suffer from limiting beliefs? You know, the little voice in your head that keeps telling you 'you can't do that' or 'you'll never lose the weight' or 'you're too old to get a job like that.'

Well here's a thought. Head down to your local dog park and find a
Baller.

Not sure what a
Baller is? It's the dog that plays fetch relentlessly.

Then, watch the dog watch the ball (or the prize, if you will). See her spirit, her sharpness, her attentiveness
.

Now, try and imagine what the little voice in her head is saying.

"Throw the ball. Throw the ball. THROW THE BALL!"

Okay, how about we suppose what it's NOT saying.

"Oh, I hope he doesn't throw it TOO far. If it takes a bad bounce I'll NEVER get it. That other dog is SO much better at fetch then me."

Sounds absurd, no? As ridiculous as your own liming beliefs?
That's what I thought.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for writing this, Stacy! Getting Happy has never felt so good. Here's how I feel right now:
