SELF: Day 27

I ran a run once last Christmas. I was staying with my dad at the time in Burlington and I had gone out for a quick five kilometers. While out, I got so devastatingly thirsty, I ate snow. No joke...it was really bad. I've never been that thirsty before, even in the dead of summer. Shalaina told me that the reason I was so entirely sluggish on that run, in addition to being totally arid, was because I was dehydrated. Though I had to resort to eating Burlington snow, I still hadn't actually thought I was dehydrated. Do you know how much water I drink in a day? It's a tad bit excessive.

Though my intake of water has dwindled some from about five litres a day down to three or four, I'm still a very hydrated gal. While out for my 8 km extravaganza yesterday, however, I was so sluggish I had to walk...a lot. I figured it out when I was almost home: I should have asked that old lady for a drink of her water...I was really dehydrated.

Aside from that, I had a pretty uneventful weekend. On Friday, Matt and I had the crew over for some drinks, which ended in the-neighbour-who-knocks-in-anger-in-his-underwear banging on the concrete wall for us to be quiet. Oops. It was nice to have everyone in our neck of the woods for a change. And Kara! Oh Kara and Michelle...what did I do without you?

On Saturday I met the little man who has changed my Korean life. It was wonderful! I have to be cryptic here...I'm sorry. Needless to say, I hit the sack early on Saturday night, was up early, and hit the pavement hard on Sunday.

The printer is clicking. The Koreans are going ballistic. I love it. More on the haircut front...I'm going this weekend. Here are some thoughts...
