Wrap it up

My mother is wonderful. Since I'm electronically challenged, she was kind enough to put Skype on and play the Oscars for me so I could listen live at school. Adorable.

Laura wrote me this morning to ask about what I thought of the Great SJP's dress last night. You'd think that Chanel couture would do more for her than this. I'm guessing she's hiding something. She's not the type to keep her figure under wraps, and I can't help but think that perhaps, at 44, she's having her second biological child. It's only speculation, but why else would she wear this? Hair is good (I like it tamed and pulled back), embellishment is good (so says Laura), but the body? Bad.

I took these images from www.myfashionlife.com. Great site.

I was stunned when Sandra Bullock took home the award for Best Actress. I loved The Blind Side and her in it, and still I was shocked at her win. It was pretty awesome. Her dress was pretty nice (that's all). Her lipstick was the best though: her and Cameron Diaz both wore red...good move. Oscar good.

I have a lady crush on Rachel McAdams. It could be because she's from London (St. Thomas? I can't remember). It could be because she wears red lipstick as good as Gwen Stefani. It could be because she's adorable. It doesn't matter why: I crush on. Her dress looks blah here, but it was awesome last night.

Demi Moore defies age, gravity, and social norms. I love her long time and applaud her going with the runway trend of the ruffle. She's magnificent. And tanned...I like tanned. There...I said it.

I saved the best for last.

Diane Kruger is a crowd pleaser. She's dating Pacey from Dawson's Creek, after all. They're always so adorable together. Did I just say that? What's happening to me? Anyway, this was my favourite dress of the night. Ruffle, yes, but it's the cream and black that does it for me. Love love love.

Today is bound to be a good day: only two classes and I have tomorrow off. Desk warming doesn't count as work. I'm cold though...we still don't have hot water in the restroom. Right...like Korean people need another excuse to avoid washing their hands. Yuck.
