SELF: Day 35

Sunday was a great day too. To round up the weekend in style, Ryan and I met up in Myeongdong and hit up H & M for the first time. This is the first H & M in Korea and boy, was it busy! I love shopping in Korea (specifically in Seoul)...everyone is hopped up and ready to spend. Good times. I also found an amazing ice cream cone (yeah, I know it's still winter, but it was the BEST snack) that tasted just like TCBY for 1,500 won (about $1.25). Best way to end the day.

Bought a shirtdress (and Korean tights...hilariously tight), a short summer dress, and finally! suspenders! Sported them at school yesterday and the kids loved them. Mrs. Lim said I looked like spring.

And then, just to be ironic, it snowed. Again. On March 22. I'm getting really sick of this weather. The accumulation was about 3 inches and sort of melted about three hours later. I was on my way to the gym at 8 last night and I had to slosh around in the resultant slush, completely irritated. Laura says that spring has sprung back home and though we had a taste of it in February, I just can't wait for it here. Dresses? Trench coats? Singin' in the proverbial rain? Sigh.

Alright, on a lighter note, I was advised yesterday that I got approved for FIVE
(count 'em...FIVE!) supplementary classes. Since The Man and the Gal keep me occupied on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I'll do two hours on Monday, another two on Thursday, and one hour on Fridays. I can't leave school now until 6 pm :( but just think of the extra money! This makes me very happy. Finally...Korea is paying off! Quite literally, I might add.

Good day to you.
I'm off to find a cookie.
