(Yeah, I'm posting about jam. I had an inspiration and I started to laugh about it.
I'm a little delirious, I'm a lot bored,
so I'm sharing my LOVE for jam.
You'll read it...and you'll like it.)
This is My Jam
I like thick jam. I can't stand it when it drips off the side of a piece of toast: it has to be thick.
I used to keep a jar of my Nonna's jam in my teeny tiny dorm fridge when I shared a room with Tamara at Western. Every so often (okay, everyday), I would get a teaspoon and eat jam by the spoonful. I LOVE jam.
The best Jam Maker Ever (thus far in my life): my Nonna. She makes it thick and tasty. Second place goes to Alice Jones, who somehow makes runny strawberry jam taste amazing.
The best Jam Ever: Pear jam. Raspberry is in close second, while grape, apple (Koreans do this well, surprisingly), and strawberry tie for third place.
Best Jam Combos:
1. Butter and Jam (on toast, not alone. I do draw the line somewhere)2. Peanut Butter and Jam (on anything, spoons included)3. Apples and Jam (just dip 'em in)
I never, EVER waste jam.
This means if any is spilt on the counter, it gets wiped up with a finger and eaten. When there is leftover jam on the knife, it is licked clean. Most importantly, if there is jam left on the edge of the jam jar, I will lick it off. I know this is gross...I don't care.
Perhaps there's a lesson to be learned here:
don't eat jam at my house.

Shalaina brought up a valid point: peach jam is also legendary. Thank you.
Erin here: You missed cheddar cheese and strawberry or raspberry jam. Best jam combo ever.
